a pounty bounty is a funded commitment, not a promise.
anything that does not meet all six conditions below does not get published. this is the entire editorial standard for the protocol.
- every bounty must be:
funded before publication
the reward is already held by the vault contract.
specific and objectively reviewable
the brief states exactly what counts as done.
assigned an exact eth reward
no ranges, no 'up to', no discretionary amounts.
connected to a public funding transaction
the funding tx hash is printed on the bounty.
reviewed before payout
submissions are checked against the stated criteria.
paid to the winner's submitted wallet
the payout goes to the address you signed with.
creator fees fund the bounty vault.
pounty does not raise money and does not hold user deposits. the treasury is funded by pons creator fees, and the same contract that receives them is the one that pays winners.
